Emeka Okoye

Emeka is a Knowledge Engineer with expertise in Semantic Technologies, Knowledge Representation, Ontology Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Modeling and Open Data. In the last 12 years, he has been building cognitive systems that exploit data assets to simulate human decision-making and high-level cognitive tasks that can be used to solve complex problems. He believes that Linked Open Data and AI will change and improve the way we live and work, and he is passionate about designing and building systems that will make this happen.

Prior to joining Land Portal, he co-founded two startups in Nigeria and Kenya, worked with Openlink Software and had consulted for numerous financial institutions in Africa. Emeka holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology
