Going grey, but still fit (mentally as well). A father of two, yet (mostly) well-rested. Multilingual, cosmopolitan, well-read, educated, and friendly. Born half a century ago in the beautiful and, back then, much quieter Southern Palatinate (Südpfalz).

I grew up without the internet, was an outdoors kid, and am now on the verge of leaving Germany. In March 2026, we are heading to Portugal, to the beautiful and very, very quiet Alentejo region. We have bought a house there and intend to live our lives in peace and warmer temperatures.

My wife and I will be setting up our own business there, offering remote services in the fields of Human Resources, Administration, and Development. Working remotely for a German company poses absolutely no problems. The internet in Portugal is excellent—comprehensive 5G coverage without limits and fiber optics up to 10 GBit.

Whether full-time or by the hour, we take care of the tasks that are important to you. On-site appointments are possible (approx. 3 hours flight time, approx. 26 hours by car). Although I am a bit older—or perhaps exactly because of that—I place great value on a genuine work-life balance.

Especially in our field, and with children, it is important to be able to organize one's time as freely as possible.
