I'm Laura, a UX/UI Designer passionate about understanding people and creating digital experiences.

Being able to discover other perspectives and provide inclusive, pleasant experiences is something that drives me.

I am an empath, curious, open-minded, and creative person who also has a draw for the technological area and geek universe.

I've worked as an Administrative & Sales Insurance Agent for over five years, which has given me strong interpersonal skills.

I'm always eager to learn more and improve myself!

In my free time, you can find me drawing on my Ipad, dancing, playing board/videogames, playing with my cats, and exploring new places.

These things inspire me to gain a fresh look at the world.

As someone who has worked in the insurance field as an administrative and salesperson for over five years, I am excited to apply my skills and experience to a new career that aligns with my passion for creating effective, efficient, and inclusive experiences for users.

My transition to UX/UI design was driven by a desire to work on something I am truly passionate about and proud of and that has a positive impact on people’s lives. I believe everyone should have access to content in a way that is easy to understand and navigate, and I am eager to use my skills to make that vision a reality.

Marketing degree, and recently I took several courses related to UX/UI Design. The most recent and relevant is the UX & UI Design Course taken at EDIT - Disruptive Digital Education.
