Hello, i ́m Nathalia Rezende, a graphic designer graduated by Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, in Caldas da
Rainha, Portugal.
In september 2022 I graduated and in October I started an internship at Vicara, a Portuguese design brand that edits homeware and decoration products. At first I started as a graphic designer intern but only one month after that I decided to accept other tasks, as the ones I had didn't fulfill the 8 hours, 5 days per week.
The tasks then included packaging the products, which quickly became managing the warehouse and stock.
From that on I became responsible for the production, logistics and invoicing, which gave me a closer connec-
tion with our clients.
In March 2023, only five months after the internship began, 3 out of 4 people from the team quit, that's when
I ended my internship contract and started a professional contract, assuming more responsibilities. At that point beacame in charge of the sales department as well.
Now I have become the principal representative of Vicara, I am in charge of sales, logistics, production,
administrations and team manager.
The reason i am looking for a new job is that i feel i have outgrew Vicara, there is no where else for me to grow in the company, or anyone to learn from. I ́m looking for a place of work where I can evolve along with the company, working with a team of experienced people, were we can share knowledge and abilitys.
I now have a lot of experience dealing with clients, as Vicara has more than 50 retailers all around the world,
clients from our studio department where we work together creating customized products. I also communi-
cate on a daily basis with partners , participating in meetings, events and fairs, such as Maison et Objet.
Another part of my job is finding new clients, which means a lot of research for new retailers stores and also new designers who want to integrate Vicara ́s catalogue.
