My personal skills being an articulate, assertive, and approachable communicator with methodical organizational and management skills.
My master’s degree in Medicine provided an extensive knowledge in Medical Arts, with a brief introduction to Sociology and Anthropology. Moreover, I acquired fundamentals of Medical Phycology and Management and Leadership in Healthcare. The program had a substantial practical studies plan, including comprehensive internships in specialties such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Family Medicine, among others.
The studies plan culminated in my master’s dissertation, an integrative review addressing the use of electronic Patient Reported Outcome Measures in Palliative Care.
In the past couple years, in Algarve Biomedical Centre, as a Team Leader I had the opportunity to relish some of my interests that I couldn’t apply during my master’s, such as managing, overview peers’ conclusions and advice while I train and develop their skills in my field of knowledge.
Successfully led team of 15 or more operators in the retrieval of patient records while providing technical support and advice;
Exceeded expectations by successfully training new hires in company policies and procedures;
Consistently achieved call center metrics.
