Role Description

This is a hybrid on-site role for a Computer Vision Intern, based out of either of our offices in Doha, Qatar and Karachi, Pakistan with remote considerations possible. The required time commitment is 20 hours per week. The intern will work on developing and optimizing computer vision algorithms, assist in dataset preparation, and contribute to the implementation of real-time solutions.

Day-to-day tasks may include researching state-of-the-art techniques, coding, testing models, and collaborating with engineers and other team members to solve challenging problems in sports analytics.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Programming, with experience in Python, C++, or similar languages
• Knowledge in Machine Learning principles and Computer Vision techniques
• Ability to explain concepts and work collaboratively, along with effective communication skills
• Familiarity with tools or frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex challenges
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Previous experience/projects in video analytics in sports is highly preferred
