أرسل عرض عمل مباشرة لهذا المرشح
I am writing to express my interest in the Consultant Medical Microbiologist / Infection Prevention and Control Doctor position in Qatar.
I am a CCT-qualified medical microbiologist with extensive experience in medical microbiology, virology, infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention and control. Since obtaining my Certificate of Completion of Training in 2009, I have developed substantial clinical and laboratory expertise in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of infectious diseases across complex healthcare settings.
My professional experience has given me a strong understanding of the interface between clinical microbiology, diagnostic services, infection control, and multidisciplinary patient care. I am confident in providing specialist advice to clinicians, supporting effective antimicrobial prescribing, contributing to outbreak management, and helping deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
In addition, my experience in the Middle East has provided me with a detailed understanding of the region’s healthcare environment, cultural context, and service priorities. As a fluent Arabic speaker, I am able to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and wider multidisciplinary teams. This is particularly valuable in supporting patient-centred care, clinical education, and collaborative working within the healthcare system.
I am particularly attracted to this opportunity because of the chance to contribute to the continued development of high-quality microbiology, virology, and infection prevention services in Qatar. I would bring strong clinical judgement, broad specialist experience, and a commitment to service improvement, teaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Please find my CV attached for further details of my qualifications and experience. Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background and expertise could contribute to the organisation.
