- Responsible for reviewing and extracting the required technical data presented in SPIR/ESPF technical drawing, manufacturer catalogue, data sheets, manufacturer website for required materials to form an accurate and comprehensive technical purchasing specification.
- Review all the fields in SPIR form and supporting documents. If missing details should be raised for clarification of the focal point of the project team or end user.
- Identify the items with similar technical specifications that can be merged to promote standardization without detrimental impact on operations.
- Identity the spare type based on item, price and inventory guidelines.
- Review all data fields (class & characteristics values) for accuracy before material master creation.
- Creating material master record (cataloguing) and classification to complete purchasing specifications by using the sap system.
- Completed SPIR copies and supporting documents are uploaded to sap mm/share point.
- Determine and evaluate items where technical specifications can be made generic to reduce varieties and inventory cost.
- Block & extend the material to respective plant and deactivate the material through sap system.

- Identify the specification and quantity of materials both inside and outside of the warehouse storage yard.
- Record the specification & image in the physical verification application in the tab version and populate those values in the approved template for cataloguing.
- Assigning class and sub-class as per information collected.
- Creation of short description and purchase order text.
- Identifying and rectifying duplicates in material master.
- Review the details, validate the existing data, enrich and assign the logical code.
- The cleansed materials are submitted in a suitable format for sap uploading.

- Receiving the IFC or AFC drawing and MTO. After that, I raised the RRM as per MTO.
- During material offloading, check material heat number, model number, serial number and received quantity and quality based on po description.
- Received and issued material documents are clearly filed for computer recording (sap mm) and audit proposal.
- Prepare material receiving inspection report (MRIR) to inform the QA/QC team for inspection of received materials.
- Stocking of pipes in the open storage area by discipline wise (carbon steel, alloy steel, GI pipe, stainless steel, DSS & LTCS pipe, etc.)

- Adopting international numerical material coding logic like MESC & UNSPSC defining your own logic based on the requirement.
- Identification of duplicated coding or identical / interchangeable items with different coding to merge and rationalize.
- Physical verification of materials for freezing technical specifications and to enhance the specs wherever required.
- Structuring materials description based on class and classification combination to transfer catalogue data into sap using different tools like catalogue management tools, CMT, E-string, etc.
- Incoming materials inspection for acceptance into the stocks. Assist warehouse personnel in the technical inspection of materials received for acceptance / rejection as per purchase order specs / requirements and buying descriptions.
- Review the project dossier and segregate the documents like P&ID, datasheet, specification sheet, layout drawing, etc., for sap document master and link the document to the corresponding tag.
- Review the scope document and acquire the equipment tag involved in the project.
- Verifying the asset (equipment) details which is equipped in the field.
- Preparation of red-markup drawings with respect to asset verification.
- Reviewing the SPIR (spare parts interchangeability record) with available documents and asset verified details.
