• Design submittal review and site witness inspection in accordance with the NFPA and Qatar Civil Defense for the installation, Testing and Commissioning of Fire and Life Safety System, Review and Approval of Material Submittals, Review of Method Statement, Testing & Commissioning Procedures, Cause and Effect Matrix meeting with Stakeholders to meet the scheduled requirements
• IFC design review, specification compliance, standards/codes for deviation reports Material and engineering submittals are reviewed in preparation for the deviations report. Examine riser, schematic, and panel drawings, as well as O&M manuals, tagging schemes, and as-built drawings.
• Review of the Cause and Effect Matrix, the Sequence of Operations, the Scope of Control and Monitoring, the Integration Levels, and the Network Integration of Multiple Towers with the Master Command Center.
• Supporting the construction project team in resolving issues and making decisions on Fire Protection designs in a timely and cost-effective manner in order to meet project objectives. Daily visits to project/construction sites to advise on the installation or implementation of NFPA and local civil defense compliance design.
• Installation of witnesses Inspections and functional tests Testing / Commissioning / Integration / Cause and Effect Matrix test / Site-wide Deficiency reports/NCR and SOR inspection, snags/de-snagging
• Preparation of a list of final documents for local Civil Defense Submission and Participation in Inspections by Local AHJ Authority Having Jurisdiction
