Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments and claims and dispute resolution.
• The implementation of contract & commercial management procedures for the administration of the Contract and Obtaining all contract deliverables for timely work handover and close-out of contracts.
• The review of Contract general terms and conditions to highlight areas of risk, ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope of work and the actions required.
• The management of appropriate mechanisms to monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Working with the other Project team members to ensure that actions or inactions which could result in contract changes or claims are identified and to provide recommendations accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pre-Award:

• Issues requests for budgetary information requests,
• Undertakes Expression of Interests and associated evaluations to develop approved supplier & Sub-con list. 
• Develop and issues Invitations of Tenders packages. 
• Develops and evaluates bids, manages commercial evaluations, and prepares commercial bid summary and recommendation for negotiations. 
• Leads commercial negotiations with input from broader Project team and relevant functional support
• Prepares contract documents for execution. 
• Prepares and maintains control and status reporting documents.
• Site visits, client tender meetings and reporting to the top management and finalise the strategy.
• Review & prepare the tender technical and commercial bid for submission within the set timeframes.
• Consult with other Departments to formulate the estimations and technical proposal for D & B bids.
• Liaise and correspond with national / international vendors and subcontractors involved in bid.

Post-Award:

• Develop BOQ by following the Client / End-user Price Schedules and verifying the quantity take-offs.
• Lead the subordinate in the Preparation of budgets, the earned value calculation and Cost plan.
• Verifying and finalization of the quantity take-offs which prepared by the subordinate team members.
• Analysis of rates for labour, material, plants and machineries for the preparation of buildup cost.
• Preparing variation calculations and submission based on FIDIC.
• Check measurements and certifying the interim payment for entire sub-contract activities.
• Optimizing the variations in the effective approach with the main contract scope and as on site.
• Evaluation and preparation of progress payments summaries and valuations.
