Responsible for carrying out the servicing, installation and maintenance of fire alarms.

Duties;

• Visiting customers and ensuring their systems are working properly.
• Installing, commissioning and maintaining residential and domestic fire sprinkler systems.
• Demonstrating systems to customers and explaining details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms to them.
• Showing customers how to set fire alarms and how to turn them off.
• Feeding cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls to reach fixture fire alarms circuits.
• Using tools to locate problems and faults such as loose connections.
• Writing up reports and quotations for clients.
• Testing all basic alarm panel functions to make sure that every offered feature is functional.
• Repairing non-functioning fire alarms and restoring them to original functionality or replacing them if necessary.
• Recording all work performed, materials used and any problems encountered.
• Participating in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as required.
