Landscape Architect, (March 2019 – Present)

Employer: Parsons International Doha (Consultant) 

Project 1: Al Hudayriyat Island West, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Client: Modon)

In line with approved masterplan, proposed different R.O.W.. strategies for Landscape encompassing Al Hudayriyat Island connecting to Abu Dhabi and adjacent future Island development of roads, cycle tracks, and pathways with associated Public Realm components.

• Design support to Project Lead for various Design requirements and deliverables.
• Preparing Schematic Design report and associated graphics.
• Collaborating with Dubai office during Schematic and Detailed Design production in Revit..

Project 2: Sedra Community Phase 5, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Client: Roshn)

An integrated community inspired by Salmani Architecture and features District and Neighborhood parks, Green spines and Open space Buffer.

• Designing District Park, Sikka and Majlis Landscape Planting plans.
• Supporting BIM team by providing Landscape design markups and inputs, species assignment and Revit production support.

Project 3: E10 Presidential Flight Road Enhancement, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Client: Musanada & Abu Dhabi Municipality)

A fast-track Streetscape Enhancement for an important Road to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi U.A.E.

• Project Lead Overseeing drawing CAD production from Concept to Detailed Design stage.
• Liaison with Project manager and other stakeholders
• Preparing Landscape Concept and Detailed Design Reports

Project 4: E10 Yas Interchange, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Client: Musanada & Abu Dhabi Municipality)

A fast-track Landscape enhancement of Flight Road Interchange incorporating existing steep embankments in Abu Dhabi U.A.E.

• Project Lead Overseeing Detailed design CAD drawing production from Concept to Detailed Design stage ( 2 CAD)
• Preparing Detailed Design Report

Project 5: Various Projects for Beautification Committee Qatar, Sharq Crossing & Palm Island Floating Bridge, Doha, Qatar (Client: Public Works Authority)

The project envisions building two bridges that will connect center of Doha to Palm Island to Lusail City over the water.

• Conceptualizing and preparing Design presentation for Parson’s entry for Sharq Crossing Bridge with the concept “Oryx Bridge”, presented to the Beautification Committee and received positive feedback.
• Supervising 3D rendering and did sketches for Palm Island floating bridge concept proposal to which received positive feedback.

Project 6: Link Roads 5 & 6, Doha, Qatar (Client: Public Works Authority)

Streetscape requirements for various Road Landscape gaps.

• Concept Design stage

Project 7: Industrial and Mubaireek Exchanges in Zone 57, Doha, Qatar (Client: Midmac & Porr and Public Works Authority)

The project consisted of highway upgrade of the existing Industrial Interchange to a signaled junction in Zone 57 and a new Interchange at Mubaireek in Zone 55.

• Preparing the detailed design drawings for both interchanges.
• Designing three options for retaining walls graphics design proposal.
• Resolving site issues by proposing design solutions.
• Providing markup drawings for Draftsmen.
• Supervising QA/QC of submission to Client/Authorities.

Project 8: Al Bustan Street North P007-C7-P2 Junctions B5 and B6, Doha, Qatar (Client: Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) Public Works Authority)

The Qatar Public Works Authority awarded the construction of Al Bustan Street North P007-C7-P2 junctions B5 and B6 to Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC). CCC approved Parsons to develop the design works.

• Preparing the detailed design drawing landscape package for Vehicular Bridge Claddings.
• Supervising IFC drawing presentations based on the drawings.

Project 9: Central Doha Corniche Beautification Project, Doha, Qatar. (Client: Public Works Authority)

The project introduced Public Arts providing extensive landscaping and Public Realm updates to Doha City Center.

• Seawall assessment report (inventory, documentation, and analysis).
• Corniche Site inventory and analysis.
• Corniche Cycle Options analysis report & graphics
• Planting plans and paving details.

Project 10: Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Underpass Plaza, Doha, Qatar (Client: Public Works Authority)

The project introduced Public Arts providing extensive landscaping and Public Realm updates to Doha City Center.

• Design of plaza connecting the proposed MIA underpass to the existing Corniche landscape from Concept to Detailed Design.

Project 11: Qatar University Parking, Doha, Qatar (Client: Public Works Authority)

The project revitalization of alloted open space for parking near Qatar rail through public realm facilities like Playground, Plaza and view areas to Olympic Cycle track.

• Concept Design up to IFC.

Project 12: Al Khor Expressway Signs and Markings, Qatar (Client: Tekkfen and Public Works Authority)

A 34-km Road with 10 grade-separated interchanges, fast cycling lane and Shared-use paths for both Pedestrian and cyclists.

• Keymap graphics for various Wayfinding and provided markup to CAD for Signage IFC details.

Project 13: Cycleway, Landscape, Irrigation & Ancillary Works Doha, Qatar (Client: JHC Construction and Palmera & Public Works Authority)

The project includes Consultancy services to JHC Construction for Cycleway, Landscaping, Irrigation and Ancillary works of various Task Orders for the connection of cycleways along the 21 gap locations from Concept designs to IFC Drawings.

• Site inventory and analysis.
• Cycleway and landscape design as per Client requirement and Site constraints.
• Preparing Reports from Concept to detailed design.
• Supervising drawing packages for submission to Authorities.

Project 14: Duhail Temporary Traffic Management Road (Client: Public Works Authority)

Project 1: Qatar Sidra Academy, Doha, Qatar (Client: Qatar Foundation)

Complete landscape design services of various courtyards, school entrance and Roofgarden for Package 1 School and Package 2 Infrastructure.

• Securing approval for Qatar Sidra Academy Package 1 (School) & Package 2 (Infrastructure) from Conceptual design to Detailed design stage.
• Collaborating with team in preparing Concept design and Schematic Design stage packages.
• Managing CAD production and allocated project manhours.
• Preparing Landscape Design Impact Plan that received Code A from ASTAD for Sidra Academy Project.

Project 2: Parks at Al Daayen, Doha, Qatar (Client: Public Works Authority)

Three Parks ranging from 1200-3000 sqm in size with themes Ribbon, Honeybee, Fantasy.

• Securing approval for Schematic Design for 3 Municipal Parks at Al-daayen and Tender Package for 2 parks at Umm-Salal with Ministry of Municipality for Environment Public Parks Department (MME-PPD) as client.
