Yousif Mohammed

I am a 33-year-old native English speaker with a strong educational background in accounting, banking, and finance. I have over 6 years’ experience as a financial accountant in Qatar. Currently have a role as a trade finance officer at UCC.

As a corporate trade finance officer my main role is to identify bank transactions, gather supporting documents for those transactions, and then post those transactions using the SAP system. I also play a supportive role in the team by doing documenting posting processes within the company, creating debit notes on for UCC on behalf of sister companies, sending emails for clarification on transactions to banks, and many other administrative tasks and responsibilities.

As an accountant, I used to handle all the day to day accounting transactions for my family owned spa, Cloud 9. I had set up the accounting procedures and software used till today, Quickbooks. I also played as the staff's payroll officer. And I handled all the necessary requirements for governmental reporting of the business such as statistics for tax purposes.

As a financial analyst, I used to create a simple 3 statement model to evaluate companies current and future prospect. I also did regression analysis to see future cash flows, similar to the way you would evaluate stocks for large department stores and individual mono-brands concept stores.

As a consultant, I used to meet clients face to face and handled both financial and accounting needs based on similar skills I've used show in previous experiences such as an account or financial analyst role.

As a functional web and mobile app developer, I excelled in my creativity skills where I wrote press releases, blogs, conceptual design and testing of those designs for both the website and mobile app application.

New skills I've recently learned: Vertical and Horizontal Analysis of the Income Statement, Benchmarking, Root-Cause Analysis, Balance Sheet Analysis (Efficiency ratios), Cash Flow Analysis, DuPont and Pyramid Analysis

I have a master's degree, MBA, specialized in Banking and Finance in the German-Jordanian University.
