Application Architect (Java, Angular) – B2B contract

We are seeking an experienced

• *Application Architect**

with expertise in

• *Java**

and

• *Angular**

, fluent in English, to provide professional services remotely within the EU.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop information system architectures.
• Review and improve the architecture of existing systems.
• Develop architectural components and building blocks.
• Analyze and integrate multiple information systems.
• Coordinate the implementation of technical architecture.
• Design application data models and workflow models.
• Develop and design application APIs using frameworks such as REST and Swagger.
• Implement software components using Java Spring, JPA, and other relevant frameworks.
• Integrate applications with corporate IAM services for authentication and authorization.
• Deliver solutions via CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or a relevant discipline, with
• *at least 13 years of experience in IT**

.

• Minimum 6 years

of experience in information system development.

• Minimum 6 years

of experience in Java web application development, including at least

• *3 years**

with Java Spring, Java 8+, and REST API development.

• At least 3 years

of experience developing complex information systems.

• At least 3 years

of front-end development experience with Angular or Kendo UI.

• At least 2 years

of experience in Agile software development, including refactoring, test-driven development, and user story modeling.

• Experience with Git and VS Code or JetBrains IDEs.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles for responsive web applications.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools: Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Balsamiq.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Maven, Jenkins, Docker, JUnit.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and JEE applications.
• Experience with Java application servers, especially Oracle WebLogic and Oracle DB.
• Proficiency in modeling methods and notations (UML) and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring framework (Spring Data, Spring Web Services, Spring Security) and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of OAuth and security concepts.
• Experience with interoperability technologies such as web services and REST APIs.
