Join E.ON’s central Software Distribution & Hardening (SDS/H) product team , developing secure, compliant, and highly automated cloud infrastructure solutions for application teams across E.ON.

Help us build reliable and scalable automation for Virtual Machines and container-based workloads using modern cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Crossplane .

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders and application teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Design and implement solutions using modern technologies and engineering best practices, with a strong focus on security, automation, maintainability, and scalability. Contribute technical expertise and actively shape the evolution of the SDS/H product.
• Software Development & Automation: Develop and maintain secure, reusable, and scalable automation solutions, with a strong focus on PowerShell. Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, maintainability, and reliability, while continuously improving automation and reducing manual processes.
• Kubernetes & Platform Engineering: Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based solutions and automation. Work with Kubernetes resources, deployments, configuration, and security concepts. Integrate SDS/H services with E.ON’s central automation platform. Experience with Crossplane and Argo CD is a strong plus.
• CI/CD & Git Workflows: Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, validation, security scanning, and deployment. Implement appropriate quality gates and automated checks throughout the development lifecycle. Work confidently with Git-based development workflows, including branching, merge requests, code reviews, and collaborative development.

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Completed studies or training in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Strong interest in working in an international, agile, and remote team, including monthly onsite meetings in Germany, with a mindset that embraces agile principles and collaboration.
• High level of ownership and accountability, taking the lead on tasks and driving them to completion, while proactively contributing new ideas and continuous improvements rather than only executing assigned work.
