Overview The Programmer/Coder for the Dev Experience project is responsible for productionsing the inhouse built Package Manager and supporting the implementation of development related changes into UAT and PROD environments. This role focuses on coding, automation, packaging, and integration work required to deliver a scalable, secure, and maintainable Package Manager.

Key Responsibilities Implement, enhance, and productionize Node.js and oclif based application which acts as a Package Manager.

Assess code rewrite effort using other more appropriate language for a desktop CLI application.

Implement automation workflows that support developer workspace configuration and tooling deployment.

Build and integrate configuration services via a central dashboard which reports versions of installed applications/recipes across the package manager installation base.

Contribute to the creation of a package manager and governance model for developers specific tooling.

Support rollout activities including: UAT and PROD deployments.

Documentation and knowledge transfer.

End-user communication and follow-up.

Collaborate with the Desktop DevEx Engineer to ensure alignment between tooling automation and endpoint engineering processes.

Assist in scripting and packaging tasks across macOS and Windows as needed.

Primary Technical Skills Strong

Node.js and oclif / bun development experience or other language like Rust or Go or C-family to rewrite existing node.js and oclif based application.

Scripting: shell, PowerShell, Python.

Software packaging for macOS and Windows.

Familiarity with SDLC tooling, developer workflows, and automation frameworks.

Experience integrating with enterprise systems (Intune, ServiceNow, Artifactory, CI/CD pipelines). What do we offer?
