Execute scoping and implementation tasks for database migration to Cloud

Perform scoping and implementation activities for data obsolescence management projects

Define database architecture and deliver database environments for new applications

Handle project-related support requests concerning PostgreSQL databases

Perform database design optimization (modelling advice, index strategy, performance tuning)

Conduct database audits on demand (architecture review, performance analysis, configuration review)

Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure stability, availability, and performance of database services

Contribute to the evolution of the database infrastructure and participate in process automation initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA and complementary some expertise in Oracle (or another DBMS)

Strong knowledge of database architecture, installation, configuration, and performance tuning

Proficiency with Linux environments (RedHat, CentOS or equivalent)

Experience in database migration projects (ideally from on‑premise to Cloud)

Understanding of high availability mechanisms (streaming replication, failover, backup & recovery)

Experience with database modelling and SQL optimization

Familiarity with scripting for automation (Shell, Python or similar)

Experience working in multi‑environment contexts (DEV, QA, PROD)

Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities

Ability to work independently and take end‑to‑end ownership of assigned tasks

English – professional level; French – intermediate (minimum B1)
