Full Stack Developer - Python & React

We are currently looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join an international IT project supporting a major European Institution. This is a fully remote opportunity within the EU, offering the chance to collaborate with international teams in a dynamic, multilingual and multicultural environment.

Contract: 6 months, with the possibility of extension

Location: Fully Remote (within the EU)

Daily Rate: €350/day

Your tasks:

• Designing and developing tools to interact with social media platforms and facilitate data collection workflows;
• Creating user-friendly front-end interfaces for data annotation and analysis purposes using modern frameworks and technologies;
• Developing back-end APIs and services to store, manage, and process data, and integrate with data analysis tools and pipelines;
• Writing scripts to automate tasks and workflows, using languages such as Bash and Python;
• Configuring and maintaining Linux-based systems for development and testing environments
• Ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of the tools using automation and monitoring tools;
• Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for all developed tools.

Key Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, with at least 7 years of relevant IT professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack web development, including Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and building web applications and tools.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, and back-end API development using Flask, including database design and integration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Bash/Python scripting, Linux system administration, Docker and Kubernetes, including system configuration, security and automation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies, Git and project tracking tools, along with familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, SharePoint and reporting methods.
• Excellent command of English.
• Relevant certifications in web development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, databases or containerisation are an advantage.
