About the role We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Orchestrator Platform Engineer to take ownership of the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous development of an AI-powered marketing orchestration platform.

This role combines production operations, technical support, and full-stack development. You will help keep the live platform stable for active users, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and deliver new features from an existing backlog of approved requirements.

You will work closely with the Product Owner, marketing stakeholders, and a technical advisor in a fast-moving environment where requirements may evolve.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the operational health and stability of the platform, monitor the environment, and resolve issues affecting users.
• Investigate, reproduce, and fix bugs, following the established build, test, review, and merge workflow.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Implement new features based on approved product requirements and a prioritized Jira backlog.
• Participate in code reviews and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices for feature development and bug fixes.
• Maintain accurate Jira tickets, including status updates, comments, and closure.
• Support release preparation and pilot deployments, including versioning, changelog maintenance, and build verification.
• Work directly with product and marketing stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate technical trade-offs, and flag risks early.

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a full-stack role.
• Working proficiency in Python, preferably with Flask and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and schema migrations using tools such as Alembic.
• Experience with Git-based development and code review workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking tools.
• Experience writing automated tests; Playwright or other browser-based end-to-end testing tools are an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Previous experience developing or maintaining AI/LLM-powered applications.
• Experience with Docker-based packaging and deployment.
• Familiarity with marketing operations, campaign planning, content workflows, or sales enablement tools.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Jira.
