As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll design and build complex applications with a focus on modern React ecosystems on the front-end, while delivering robust APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You’ll be both a hands-on developer and a technical leader, guiding clients and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the front-end development of web applications using React.js and modern tooling.
- Architect and maintain scalable back-end services using Java Spring Boot.
- Build responsive, high-performance UIs with modern React features:
- React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useMemo, useCallback, custom hooks).
- Context API for local state management.
- React Query (TanStack Query) for server state synchronisation.
- Implement TypeScript for type safety and maintainability.
- Style applications using TailwindCSS, CSS Modules, or styled-components.
- Optimize performance with code-splitting, lazy loading, Suspense, memoization, and React Profiler.
- Implement testing best practices using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to implement accessible, pixel-perfect designs.
- Ensure seamless integration between front-end and Spring Boot APIs.
- Guide technical decisions, review code, and mentor junior developers.
- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and propose solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Solid experience with state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Recoil).
- Familiarity with React Query / Apollo Client for data fetching.
- Knowledge of React Hooks, Context API, and component-driven development.
- Experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Backend experience with Java Spring Boot for microservices and APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with consultancy or client-facing experience.
