Full Stack Engineer (Python / JavaScript) – Cloud & Data- Romania

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Python and JavaScript to join a team building scalable, cloud-based applications and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate combines solid backend and frontend development skills with hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and modern data technologies.

You will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions, collaborating closely with software engineers, data engineers, cloud specialists, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and services with internal and external systems.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data access and processing.
• Develop cloud-native solutions and deploy applications using modern Cloud and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data pipelines, analytics, and data processing capabilities into applications.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and technical standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application reliability and scalability.
• Work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern Python development frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, clean code, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with automated testing and debugging.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data engineering, data platforms, or analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark, Databricks, Kafka, or other data-processing technologies.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Experience working with AI/ML or GenAI-related applications is a plus.
