Full Stack Java Developer

About Us

Zumzet Group and its technology division ZumIT are looking for a Java Developer to join our engineering team. You will work alongside talented developers to design, build, and maintain scalable backend solutions that power real products for international clients.

This role is suitable for a developer with prior experience in application modernization, migration to newer technologies or architectures, and redesign initiatives.

You will work in an international set-up, collaborating with cross-functional and multicultural teams within a mixed delivery model, where responsibilities are distributed across multiple teams and organizations.

We are looking for someone who is autonomous, proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative, who feels comfortable in such environments and is motivated to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular or React
• Implement and integrate REST APIs
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Contribute to the modernization and evolution of existing applications
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver solutions
• Participate in improving architecture, code quality and initiatives and optimization of working practices

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a balanced profile combining technical expertise and soft skills, able to contribute to an international and dynamic environment.

• Relevant experience as a Full-Stack Developer (min. 3 years)
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot (min. 3 years)
• Frontend experience with Angular or React (min. 1 years)
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum projects
• Technical university degree or equivalent practical experience
• English level intermediate to advanced, required for international collaboration
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of delivery
• Open and transparent communication in a hybrid work environment
• Proactive mindset and solution-oriented approach
• Critical thinking and initiative in proposing improvements
