Java Backend Engineer

R Systems is searching for an experienced Java Engineer to join our team of innovators!

We are looking for experienced Software Engineer with excellent design and coding skills. You will have previous experience working on an agile product development team and will enjoy working within the latest CI frameworks to create tested software products.

• Design and implement high-performance, scalable backend systems and applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain APIs and web services to support application functionality.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs to improve application efficiency.
• Work with database technologies to manage, store, and retrieve data effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

• Proven experience as a backend developer or related role.
• Proficiency in Java programming with Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with AWS and MS Azure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
