Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Developer with experience in Java and Spring Boot to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Work in an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning and code reviews.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering backend features with Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Experience with REST APIs, service integrations, and integration error handling.
• Experience with SQL databases, transactions, and query performance.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Ability to work with asynchronous processing, messaging, and data consistency across services.
• Ability to use Maven and Docker and understand CI pipelines
• Ability to understand existing code, investigate failures across services, and deliver features independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Keycloak.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with CQRS, event sourcing, or Axon Framework.
