About Position and details:

• Role: Java Software Engineer
• Location: Romania
• Mode: REMOTE
• Experience: 8 to 12 years
• Contract(b2b) role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java-based backend development to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern Java versions, Spring Boot, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD practices and test-driven development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Experience working with MongoDB, Oracle, and Redis
• Familiarity with Lombok for reducing boilerplate code
• Good understanding of OAuth2 protocols and secure system design (SAS knowledge preferred)
• Experience using Bruno/Postman for API testing and validation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Solid knowledge of TDD and BDD, including writing Gherkin-based test scenarios
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and cloud-native application deployment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment
