Kadeno is looking for an experienced JavaScript Engineer to work on live production systems used by international clients.
The focus of this role is building, maintaining, and improving existing systems with an emphasis on quality, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
Frameworks are secondary. Solid fundamentals and thoughtful technical decisions matter most.
Your mission
- Develop and maintain JavaScript-based applications in production environments
- Take part in feature development from implementation to release
- Contribute to improving code quality, structure, and maintainability
- Work with existing systems and help evolve them over time
- Address performance, reliability, and scalability considerations
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders
Required experience
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals (frontend, backend, or both)
- Experience working with live, production systems
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivered work
- Understanding of application structure, data flow, and system behavior
- Clear and constructive communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with or modern frontend frameworks
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, and system integrations
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
Languages you should speak
- English – required for client communication
- Hungarian – required for day-to-day collaboration
