As a Junior Developer, you will work alongside experienced engineers, get hands-on with real enterprise e-commerce projects, and build the technical skills that turn a solid Java foundation into deep expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud. A good understanding of Java fundamentals is essential for this role.
The role involves supporting the development and maintenance of enterprise e-commerce solutions, contributing to well-defined tasks within a collaborative team, and growing your skills in SAP Commerce Cloud and modern backend technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Software Fundamentals
- Write clean, maintainable Java code, applying object-oriented principles, collections, generics, and exception handling.
- Work with build tools such as Gradle and manage code using Git and version-control best practices.
Backend & E-Commerce Technologies
- Support the development of backend services using REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON.
- Contribute to solutions built on Java frameworks (preferably Spring / Spring Boot) and data access layers using Hibernate / JPA and SQL.
- Grow your expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud and enterprise e-commerce solutions.
Collaboration & Continuous Learning
- Contribute to a team that values clean code, technical curiosity, and shared learning.
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools to support your work, while validating and improving generated code rather than relying on it unchecked.
