Project Description
Join our Development Center in Luxoft Romania and become part of a professional, collaborative team working on innovative software solutions for the FinTech and Investment Banking industry.
You will contribute to the development of applications used by leading financial institutions worldwide, supporting trading, risk management, and data processing solutions.
The project follows Agile/SAFe methodologies and embraces modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, TDD, BDD, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software solutions within a cross-functional Agile team.
- Design and implement new functionalities, integrations, and improvements for financial platforms.
- Work closely with teams in Paris and Bucharest to analyze requirements, solve problems, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop applications that integrate with external financial systems and providers.
- Contribute to testing, code quality, and continuous improvement practices.
Skills
Must have
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Informatics, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Java development.
- Good knowledge of Spring Framework, including Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control.
- Experience with unit and mock testing (JUnit, Mockito).
- Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
- Experience with Apache Maven and Git repository management.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar).
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Good spoken English skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache Camel and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Knowledge of JAXB, XML transformations (XSLT, XSD, DTD).
- Experience with Java Message Service (JMS).
- Knowledge of Drools.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Knowledge of financial products or banking domain is a plus.
