• *Role Overview**

As a Lead DevSecOps Engineer, you will oversee and optimize our distributed cloud infrastructure, focusing on OpenStack and Kubernetes. You will ensure reliability, drive automation and security practices, collaborate across teams, manage critical incidents, define operational standards, and mentor team members to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

• *Key Responsibilities:
• *Cloud & Infrastructure Operations:
• Operate and support compute, storage, and virtualization services.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance.
• Troubleshoot incidents (L2/L3), perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Execute platform changes, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with customers on operational issues.
• Improve processes through automation and standardization.
• *Platform Operations (OpenStack / Kubernetes):
• Manage OpenStack and Kubernetes platforms in production.
• Monitor control and data planes; troubleshoot platform-level issues.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management.
• Support tenants and collaborate on platform improvements.
• *Support Engineering (L2/L3):
• Monitor network, infrastructure, and platform services.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and edge connectivity.
• Participate in on-call rotations; lead incident response and post-mortems.
• Ensure operational KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction.
• *DevSecOps & Automation:
• Integrate security into operations (shift-left approach).
• Implement IAM, RBAC, certificate management, and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Apply SRE principles for reliability, error budgets, and toil reduction.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation initiatives.
• *Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering
• Strong Linux experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Virtualization: KVM, VMware; Storage: Ceph, SAN/NAS
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics)
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix
• OpenStack (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone) & Kubernetes operations
• Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Helm (at least one)
• Incident management, troubleshooting, and customer communication
• *Certifications:**

Required

• RHCSA / RHCE (Red Hat Certified System Administrator / Engineer)
• CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
• CCNA / CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional)

Preferred

• CKAD, CKS, Red Hat OpenStack Specialist, Terraform Associate
• AWS / Azure / GCP associate-level certifications
• ITIL Foundation or ITIL 4

Nice to Have

• Edge / distributed cloud experience
• Exposure to SRE practices
• Security awareness (IAM, RBAC, certificates)
• Experience supporting regulated environments (ISO, NIS2)
