Lead Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular

Responsibilities:

 Own the technical direction and architecture of the solution

 Lead and support the development team in delivering high-quality software

 Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members

 Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

 Contribute hands-on to backend and full-stack development

 Design and develop microservices, APIs, and integrations with existing systems

 Work closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle

 Support technical estimations, solution design, and technical investigations

 Ensure appropriate automated testing and quality practices are followed

 Drive improvements related to application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability

 Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards

 Contribute to CI/CD, containerization, and deployment activities

 Support the delivery of applications across Cloud and Edge environments

 Take ownership of technical delivery and help the team continuously improve its development practices

Technical Skills:

 Strong experience with Java (6+ years)

 Solid hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot (5+ years)

 Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed application architectures

 Experience designing and developing REST APIs

 Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar

 Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis

 Experience with Angular and TypeScript

 Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

 Experience with Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud provider

 Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

 Good understanding of application scalability, resilience, and performance

 Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, API, and performance testing

 Experience with Git and modern software development practices

 Exposure to Cloud and Edge computing environments is a plus

 Experience with legacy modernization or migration projects is a plus

 Familiarity with Generative AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus

 Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and previous technical leadership experience

Other Skills:

 Familiar with Agile methodology

 Great leading, interpersonal and communication skills

 Fluent in English
