Lead Java Developer

We are currently seeking a skilled Lead Java Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and high-performing backend applications
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver reliable solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Backend Developer, with proficiency in Java 11 and above. (Java 18 and Java 21 preferred)
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs and using Swagger/OpenAPI
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL)
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems
• Familiarity with persistence frameworks such as JPA, Hibernate
• Experience in test automation
• Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps)
• Ability to deliver high-quality solutions with a strong track record
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics, or equivalent practical experience (7+ years)

Nice to Have

• Experience with OAuth2 authentication and authorization
• Exposure to cloud technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Knowledge of cryptography concepts (HMAC, certificates, HSM)
