Role Overview:

We’re looking for a .NET developer to support and extend an event-driven integration platform, build Blazor applications, and develop AI-assisted workflows. The platform connects enterprise systems,including Dynamics 365, Dataverse, SharePoint, and internal data services—and includes REST APIs, background workers, message-driven integrations, and AI workflows using Azure AI Foundry.

You’ll work across backend services, user-facing Blazor features, and AI-enabled solutions: improving reliability, integrating systems, resolving production issues, and delivering maintainable enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance .NET microservices, REST APIs, and background workers.
• Develop Blazor user interfaces and connect them to secure backend APIs.
• Build and support asynchronous integrations using MassTransit, RabbitMQ, and Azure Service Bus.
• Develop and maintain AI-assisted workflows using Azure AI Foundry, including agent orchestration and structured outputs.
• Integrate AI capabilities with business processes, while considering accuracy, data privacy, security, and human oversight.
• Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core; troubleshoot data access and synchronization issues.
• Integrate with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, Azure services, and third-party business systems.
• Support authentication, configuration, and secrets management using Azure identity services and Key Vault.
• Investigate production incidents, improve logging and monitoring, and strengthen service resilience.
• Write and maintain automated tests, technical documentation, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to deliver practical, supportable solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong C# and .NET experience, including ASP.NET Core APIs and hosted/background services.
• Experience with Blazor and component-based web application development.
• Understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with message queues or brokers and event-driven architecture.
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered features, such as LLM-based applications, agents, or prompt-driven workflows.
• Good understanding of AI limitations, including output validation, reliability, and responsible handling of data.
• Experience writing automated tests and diagnosing issues in existing applications.
• Good communication skills and a pragmatic approach to maintaining established systems.

Useful additional experience

• Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or other managed AI platforms.
• Prompt design, tool/function calling, structured response schemas, and evaluation of AI outputs.
• Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or enterprise search.
• Azure, Azure DevOps pipelines, Docker, and production deployments.
• MassTransit, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, or Dataverse integrations.
• Azure Key Vault, managed identities, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• OpenTelemetry, health checks, and application monitoring.
• Experience supporting applications that target multiple .NET versions and modernizing them incrementally.
