PHP Software Engineer

This position is based in Bucharest (Aurel Vlaicu) and offers a hybrid work model.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate PHP Developer to join our team of developers and business analysts and ensure quality throughout the development cycle of our security monitoring products.

What you need:

• 4+ years of development experience using a mix of PHP and Javascript;
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript;
• Build efficient, testable PHP modules;
• Ability to solve performance problems and write complex algorithms;
• Good database design and query abilities;
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Experience with Node JS is a plus;
• Experience with NoSQL databases and messaging broker technologies are also appreciated.

Other nice to have skills:

• Fast learner & interested in new technologies;
• A good understanding of performance optimization techniques;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

What you will do:

• Monitor the quality of code, while fulfilling the tasks to a high standard;
• Understand business requirements and convert them to a solution design;
• Development and maintenance of our products with focus on User Experience;
• Create new modules for the system in PHP language.
