Program Manager

Location: Bucharest (hybrid: 2 days in-office / week)

As a Program Manager, you will own the relationship with our banking clients end to end, ensuring a seamless collaboration that meets and exceeds expectations. Your mission is to deeply understand client needs, prioritize their strategic goals, and make sure our teams deliver tailored solutions that align with their vision.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with clients' business and digital teams to uncover their needs, priorities, and strategic plans, delivering solutions that align with their objectives;
• Own client requests from receipt to answer, making sure each one reaches the right place and the client always knows its status;
• Follow delivery against commitments, timelines and SLAs, based on the delivery team’s reporting, proactively addressing challenges with the Delivery Lead/PM;
• Sport potential roadblocks early, ask for corrective plans and escalate issues when necessary;
• Take part in release planning and prioritization discussions with the client, to align with client priorities and internal timelines;
• Conduct governance meetings with clients to review progress, address initiatives, resolve ongoing issues and escalations, and gather feedback;
• Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in client discussions, collaborating with the sales team to explore new possibilities;
• Prepare detailed monthly activity reports, including team effort summaries and support-related metrics;
• Oversee commercial processes, including estimations, offers, agreements, contracts, and invoicing;
• Drive profitability and present impactful updates to C-level stakeholders, demonstrating value and results.

What you bring to the table:

• Experience: 5+ years in client engagement, or account management roles, ideally within the digital transformation or IT sectors; experience with banks or other regulated clients is a strong plus;
• Education: a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or a related field;
• Skills: strategic thinker (ability to align client needs with organizational capabilities, identifying solutions that drive mutual success), problem solver (expertise in navigating complex scenarios and delivering practical, innovative solutions), communication guru (exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with technical and non-technical stakeholders), commercial mindset (comfortable saying no and turning requests into offers or change requests, without hurting the relationship), organizer extraordinaire (skilled in managing multiple client accounts at once, balancing priorities, and delivering high-quality results on time), tech-savvy (familiarity with digital transformation, banking technologies, and project management tools).
