Python Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python, Robot Framework and/or Playwright, with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks for web applications and APIs. This role requires a quality-focused professional who can collaborate effectively with global teams and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Robot Framework, and/or Playwright.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end business processes.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high product quality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop reusable test components and promote automation best practices across the team.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex automation and application issues.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.

Minimum Requirements

• Fluency in English;
• 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and/or Playwright.
• Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web application and API testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test execution.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
