As a Python Developer specializing in cloud applications, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable backend solutions that drive innovation for our global clients. Your expertise will help advance HCLTech’s strategic initiatives in artificial intelligence and cloud transformation, directly impacting customer success and the company’s technological leadership.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy cloud-native applications, primarily leveraging platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar.
- Architect and implement Generative AI solutions, including prompt engineering and agent development, to solve real-world business challenges.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/delivery.
- Write clear, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software design and development.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate technical decisions, and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge on Python, cloud technologies, and AI practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Python.
- Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering and agent-based architectures.
- Solid hands-on experience in developing and deploying cloud applications; familiarity with GCP, AWS, or Azure is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in collaborative, fast-paced teams.
- Exposure to Machine Learning frameworks and advanced AI concepts.
- Prior experience in multinational or large-scale enterprise environments.
