Python Developer

Overall Objective of the Role

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our ZeroBounce team in Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the rapid growth of a dynamic company, serving tens of thousands of clients, including numerous Fortune 500 companies. Your primary responsibilities will involve building and optimizing backend systems, managing server-side logic, and ensuring data integrity and security across our web services.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of backend development principles and enjoy collaborative teamwork.

Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for building efficient, reliable backend applications that align with our business objectives and provide a seamless experience for our users.

Responsibilities

• Write effective, scalable server-side code
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Optimize server responsiveness and stability
• Implement security and data protection solutions
• Develop and maintain APIs to support frontend integration
• Test, debug, and improve backend functionality of existing systems
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and provide technical solutions
• Utilize Python for data processing and system tasks, with proficiency in Django or Flask
• Be comfortable working with multiple programming languages, including Java or Node.js, as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer in Python
• Proficiency in at least one popular Python backend framework (such as Django or Flask)
• Knowledge of relational databases like MariaDB or other SQL databases
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git/SVN) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (such as JavaScript and HTML5) to facilitate API development
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field

• Experience with handling (extracting & providing) data for Ads & Statistics
