As a Data Engineer – Security Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing data to enhance security operations and drive actionable insights. You will be responsible for designing and developing data pipelines, performing advanced data analysis, and applying machine learning to solve complex security challenges. Your contributions will be central to the company’s mission of delivering innovative, secure, and scalable technology solutions for global clients.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows for security analytics projects.

Perform advanced data analysis and visualization to uncover patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights related to security operations.

Implement machine learning models to improve threat detection and response capabilities.

Develop and optimize Python scripts for data processing, analysis, and integration.

Work with JSON structures to manage and manipulate security-related data.

Mock external security APIs to facilitate integration, testing, and validation of security solutions.

Collaborate with security operations teams to understand requirements and deliver relevant data artifacts.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all stages of analysis and processing.

Document processes, methodologies, and technical artifacts for ongoing knowledge sharing and improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning.

Advanced proficiency in Python programming and working with JSON data structures.

Experience in mocking and integrating external security APIs.

Strong understanding of security operations and related data artifacts.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and database management systems.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
