Senior Data Engineer – Strong OOP & Python (Databricks)

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding Apply E.ON’s automation tools and frameworks to implement and operate continuous integration, delivery, and deployment in the context of the E.ON Data House.

Apply automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployments and operations (GitOps).

Monitor and manage the related infrastructure and cloud services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance. Investigate and resolve technical issues by deploying updates/ fixes.

Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.

Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Ensure high quality of own code base and documentation, avoid and remove technical debt.

Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats Support other developers and review their code for quality and conformity.

Define requirements for and integrate with 3rd Party APIs of internal and external platforms. Your Profile – authentic & open-minded Senior-level Python programming

Very strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts: SOLID principles, design patterns, modular architecture, reusable components

Strong experience with PySpark and Databricks

Experience designing scalable and maintainable data frameworks

Ability to build modular data pipeline frameworks

Experience structuring large Python codebases

Experience working with Delta Lake
