Senior Full-Stack Engineer — Python / React / AI

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our AI-native engineering team and take end-to-end ownership of building and evolving our product.

You’ll work across the entire stack — from designing backend services and data models to building intuitive React interfaces and deploying production workloads on AWS. You’ll play a key role in architectural decisions, technical direction, and continuous improvement of our engineering practices.

What You'll Do

• Own and deliver full features end-to-end, including backend APIs, data layer, frontend integration, testing, and deployment.
• Design and implement scalable microservices in Python/FastAPI, applying clean architecture and sound software engineering principles.
• Build and maintain our React/TypeScript frontend, including dashboards, workflow interfaces, and data-intensive tables.
• Design data models and manage database evolution using PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.
• Integrate with external APIs and third-party systems, including Microsoft Graph, OpenAI, and other enterprise services.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based deployments, and AWS infrastructure.
• Work with AWS ECS Fargate, RDS, and S3 to operate reliable production systems.
• Contribute to AI-powered functionality using LLM APIs, embeddings, semantic search, and vector storage.
• Drive architectural decisions and proactively identify opportunities to improve system design, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Conduct thoughtful code reviews and help establish high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with a small, autonomous team and contribute beyond the boundaries of a single technical area.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level Python skills, with strong hands-on experience building production systems with FastAPI.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills and the ability to contribute confidently across the full stack.
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and microservices patterns.
• Strong experience with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to design and evolve production-grade systems while balancing technical trade-offs.
• A genuine passion for AI and emerging technologies — you actively follow the space, experiment with LLMs, and understand how AI is transforming software engineering.
