We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our fintech client and contribute to the development and evolution of a large-scale payment platform. You will play a key role in designing and implementing new features, driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and collaborating within an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend features and platform enhancements.
- Take technical ownership of new functionalities, from design through implementation and delivery.
- Contribute to the architecture and continuous technical evolution of the platform.
- Ensure code quality by following development standards, best practices, and clean coding principles.
- Develop and maintain RESTful microservices using modern Java technologies.
- Write automated tests and promote TDD and BDD practices.
- Produce clear technical documentation and actively share knowledge within the team.
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and development issues efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Technical Skills:
- Strong commercial experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, TDD/BDD, and Agile development practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD environments.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native applications.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium/WebDriver) and development tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, XML/JSON, and large-scale database environments.
