General Information

As a member of our Engineering team, you will be involved in the creation of those new products that make hybrid vehicles and e-mobility more affordable, environmentally sound and you will contribute to integrating these solutions into autonomous driving concepts. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the members of our FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation group, a professional community having a key role in the development of our products.

The main types of simulations that our team covers include structural, dynamic (vibrations, shock), thermal, electric and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Simulations are performed for specific automotive products such as inverters, DC-DC converters and E-machines.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Perform different types of simulations using ANSYS Workbench and other specialized FEM simulation tools, in close collaboration with the mechanical design, electrical engineering and test teams
• Perform at least one of the following types of simulations: structural, dynamic (vibrations, shock), thermal, electric or CFD (Computed Fluid Dynamics).
• Provide simulation reports with results interpretation by using appropriate tools and techniques in accordance with the company quality standards and design guidelines, in a timely manner.

Your Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline with good technical skills (e.g. Mechanics/ Mechatronics/ Machine Manufacturing/Electrical Engineering/Physics/Mathematics or other relevant technical or science fields)
• Good theoretical knowledge on relevant fields (e.g. physics (vibrations, fluid mechanics, heat transfer), mathematics, strength of materials)
• Experience in the field of FEM simulation is an advantage
• Knowledge of a FEM platform is an advantage (e.g.

  Ansys

  Workbench)

• Knowledge of a CAD platform is an advantage (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks, Catia)
• Basic knowledge on automotive mechatronics products (materials, manufacturing technologies)
• English - B2 level or higher
• MS Office suite - independent user.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial on-the-job training phase and will familiarize you with our products, tools processes and organization.
