Role: Senior Cloud Engineer

Daily Rate: 300 - 400 EUR/Day

As a Senior Cloud Engineer within the program, you will play a key operational and hands-on role in delivering Business tenancies for SwapClear and Listed Rates. You will contribute directly to the execution of the enterprise data platform strategy, helping modernize and transform Post Trade data capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional eager to work on a large-scale cloud transformation initiative and contribute to innovation in the data space. Role Responsibilities:

Act as a core member of the Concorde program, delivering Business tenancies for SwapClear and Listed Rates.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement modern, scalable data solutions.

Design and develop automated data pipelines and optimized data structures.

Build and support a cloud-native data platform based on AWS and Snowflake.

Lead and support the migration of data from legacy on-premises systems to a cloud-first architecture.

Develop and maintain event-driven data processing systems using Kafka or similar technologies.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Build automated testing frameworks to ensure data pipeline reliability and quality.

Work within Agile delivery teams (Scrum/Kanban), using JIRA for tracking and collaboration.

Provide 2nd/3rd line support in line with ITIL processes, ensuring operational stability and incident resolution.

Stay up to date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices in software and data engineering. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Python development.

2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.

Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, dbt, and Apache Airflow.

Experience with event streaming systems such as Kafka or similar technologies.

Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Experience implementing automated testing for data pipelines.

Hands-on experience migrating on-premises solutions to AWS and Snowflake.

Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).

Familiarity with JIRA for project and task management.

Understanding of ITIL processes and experience providing 2nd/3rd line support.
