Main Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Design, model, and maintain relational databases
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand data requirements
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security
- Participate in data migration and data cleansing initiative
- Identify and resolve database performance issues
Requirements:
- Solid experience (5+ years) as an SQL Developer
- Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
- Proven experience in query performance tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, normalization)
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or other reporting and data visualization tools
- Experience with AS400
- Experience with DB2 for z/OS
- Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) for automation and process optimization
