Proficiency in MySQL, AWS RDS management, ETL processes, database administration, replication, scaling, sharding, upgrades, migrations, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail

• *Responsibilities:
• Database Design:**

Designing, creating, and maintaining database schemas, tables, indexes, and views based on the requirements of the organization.

• Database Development:

Developing and implementing database solutions to support business needs, including database applications, stored procedures, triggers, and queries.

• Database Administration:

Managing and monitoring database performance, security, and availability. This includes tasks such as data backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.

• Performance Tuning:

Identifying and resolving performance issues by optimizing database queries, indexing strategies, and database configuration settings.

• Data Security:

Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, including user authentication, encryption, and access controls.

• Data Migration:

Planning and executing data migration projects to transfer data between different database systems or versions while ensuring data integrity and minimizing downtime.

• Database Documentation:

Documenting database design, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaboration:

Collaborating with other IT professionals, such as software developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to integrate databases with other systems and applications.

• Troubleshooting:

Investigating and resolving database-related issues, such as data corruption, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.

• Amazon Aurora MySQL**

: In-depth knowledge of Amazon Aurora's MySQL compatibility, including its architecture, performance optimization, scaling, replication, and failover mechanisms.

• Amazon Redshift

: experience with AWS redshift, able to design, build, maintain a scalable cloud data warehouse.

• AWS Services

: Expertise in AWS services related to database management such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

• Proficiency in database design principles, data modeling, normalization, and denormalization techniques suitable for large-scale databases.
• Skills in optimizing database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Aurora-specific performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of database security best practices, including encryption, access control, SQL injection prevention, and auditing in AWS environment.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.

• Experience in gambling industry.
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how they integrate with database deployments and updates.
