About the job
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Bucharest. Role overview
You will work directly with a wide range of international customers, both new and established clients, and help them through their lifecycle - from onboarding and setup, reproducing issues and bugs, all the way to making sure they adopt and use Pentest-Tools.com to the best extent possible.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will have an important and central role within our organization as you will be in direct and daily contact with our clients and you will act as an interface between our product development team and our customers. Your responsibilities
Constantly communicate with our customers to overcome their technical issues and ensure they get the best of our platform To respond in a timely manner to internal and external requests
Provide technical advisory, perform troubleshooting and help solve issues raised by our customers
Ensure that client support cases are properly resolved in coordination with development and other internal teams, where escalation is required
Help determine product challenges, shortcomings, and missing features that are retention risks by analyzing the support cases
Maintain our knowledge base up to date according to the latest Pentest-Tools.com product updates and releases
Gain and maintain expert knowledge of the Pentest-Tools.com platform and services What we’re looking for
Good understanding of technical concepts (operating systems, networking, basic programming)
At least 2 years of previous work experience in a role of Technical Support, Customer Success Engineer, Security Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer
Attention to detail and willingness to "go the extra mile" to fix a problem
Strong social, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written (English and Romanian)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, since you'll be exposed to various technical issues Nice to have Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, routing, HTTP protocol, etc)
Experience with web applications and architectures
Practical understanding of IT Security concepts (VPN, TLS/SSL, authentication mechanisms, etc) The benefits we offer
