About this Role:

We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to help design, test, and optimize custom domain specific workflows. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to build reliable, auditable, and high-performing automation pipelines. This role combines applied machine learning, prompt engineering, workflow design, and hands-on Python development within AWS.

What you’ll do:

• Design & Develop AI Workflows: Build modular workflows that process, enrich, and normalize structured/unstructured data.

• Validation & Evaluation: Run workflows against labeled historical records; analyze mismatches, identify root causes, and implement fixes (prompt refinement, logic adjustments, workflow redesign).

• Data Engineering: Write clean, production-ready Python for parsing, transformation, and normalization of diverse document types (XML, JSON, PDF, etc.).

• AI Integration: Leverage LLMs, traditional ML models, and deterministic functions for different workflow steps depending on accuracy/efficiency requirements.

• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the product team to refine workflows based on customer guidelines, accuracy targets, and compliance requirements.

• Quality & Compliance: Ensure workflows meet strict quality thresholds and can be audited against regulatory requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, ISO standards).

Requirements:

• Strong Python skills (data parsing, APIs, Pandas, workflow automation)

• Experience with AWS services (compute, storage, orchestration)

• Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering

• Understanding of data validation, evaluation metrics, and error analysis

Nice to have:

• General Machine Learning knowledge

• Familiarity with React for Frontend Development

• AWS solution architecture expertise

• CDK experience

This is a full-time, remote contractor role with flexible working hours, requiring an independent business setup (LLC, agency, or freelance). To ensure team alignment, a 50% time overlap with USA time zones is needed.
