Full-Stack Java/React Developer (With Astro)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in Java and React to join a long-term project. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both backend and frontend development and has hands-on experience with Astro for modern web development.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java
• Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Strong experience with React.js
• Commercial experience with Astro
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and frontend/backend integration
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Understanding of software development principles, clean code, and design patterns
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Good English communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Astro
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Develop responsive and reusable frontend components
• Design and implement backend services and business logic
• Work with databases and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with Next.js or other modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker
• Experience with automated testing
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
