El-Zein is looking for a new team member.

Your Daily Routine Would Include

Designing and implementing new features end-to-end within a cross-functional squad, following design patterns and good practices.

Building solutions using modern technologies.

Investigating and fixing bugs in existing features across backend services.

Participating in code reviews — both giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Designing and maintaining database schemas while ensuring data integrity across changes. We'll Know You Can Make It If You Have Solid experience with Spring Framework — minimum 3-4 years.

Excellent command of Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).

Experience with Spring Security and JWT (authentication/authorization).

Experience with web technologies: JSP and/or JSF (XHTML), HTML/CSS/JS.

Working with Tomcat (deployment, logs, configuration).

Experience with Oracle DB (SQL, performance tuning).

Writing and maintaining XML configurations, working with properties.

Working with version control (Git / GitHub) and task/issue tracking (Jira).

Experience with testing services/integrations (SoapUI or equivalent).

Understanding of multi-module projects (Maven/Gradle)

Experience with distributed caching and distributed locking strategies

Fluent English – written and spoken

Communication skills — you can clearly explain what you're working on and raise concerns without being asked A proactive mindset — you look ahead, spot issues early, and move things forward without waiting to be told Nice To Have Experience with containerization — Docker and/or Kubernetes, LDAP, Keycloak.
