Java EE Software Engineer - Inacta Team

Together with our partner, we are building the Serbia team and are looking for a:

Java EE Software Engineer with experience in low-code platforms, particularly Mendix, to strengthen Inacta's innovative software development team. In this role, you will focus on Java EE development while also utilizing low-code solutions to support rapid development and prototyping.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java EE applications

• Use Mendix or other low-code platforms for fast prototyping and development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and develop solutions

• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of Java EE applications and seamless integration of low-code solutions

• Write efficient and testable code, maintaining a balance between traditional coding and low-code methods

• Contribute to all phases of the development cycle, from conception to deployment

• Support continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and low-code platforms such as Mendix

Your profile:

• University or college degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Java EE development

• Familiarity with low-code platforms such as Mendix is an advantage

• Experience in developing web applications using at least one web framework (Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.)

• Knowledge of JPA, EJB, and RESTful web services

• Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies

• Customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile

• Enjoyment of varied work and active participation in team activities

• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methods quickly

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
